Law Degree, 2 Dead Websites and My Failing Hosting Business, My Real Starting Point

Introduction

Hi, I'm Haseeb. I have a law degree, no real world law experience, and for quite some time i've been trying to figure out how to make money online.

I also happen to own two websites that have been sitting empty for years and a proper Web Hosting business - Sulana Host- that hasn't earned me a single dollar for a year. 

Sounds like a disaster right? Well... it kind of is. But it's also my starting point, i've decided to document everything I do from here. 

My Journey So Far

After graduating law school, i expected to land a good job or at least start a freelance career in law. Reality hit hard in my country: no good job offers, no experience and bills to pay. 

So i tried my hand at online business.

1. Two Websites - I created them with high hopes, thinking content alone would make money. 

• They sat empty for 2 years.
• I never wrote enough posts
• Traffic? Not Enough. Revenue? Zero

2. SulanaHost - My very own Web Hosting Business.

• I had my server setup on cPanel to manage a 100 clients, ready to sell hosting packages.
• I had no marketing plan,no customers, no money coming in.

In Short: I had tools, domains and ideas but no execution, no traffic, no strategy.

What i Learned from Failing?

Even though i failed so far, there are a few lessons i've already picked up:

• Owning a Website is not enough. Content and marketing are everything.
• Starting a Business without a plan is dangerous. You need a roadmap.
• Consistency beats perfection. Waiting for 'perfect post' or 'perfect website' gets you nowhere.

These lessons might seem obvious now, but living them is different from reading them online, 

What's next?

I've decided to start over, and this time, i will document everything publicly. 

Here's what you can expect from me:

• Real experiments in making money online with zero budget
• Honest update about my web hosting business (SulanaHost)
• Lessons from trying an failing -- and eventually succeeding. 

No sugarcoating. no fake success stories. Just real progress, step by step.

Closing thought

If you have ever felt stuck after graduation, or tried an online business that went nowhere, you are not alone. I'm Starting from almost zero -- but i'm taking action now.

This is my client management area where i manage clients, collect payments and answer to support requests and the big zero.

However, it does not mean at all that there is a problem somewhow with my business. Not at all. Server is based on LiteSpeed which is fast for your WordPress and built in caching. 

Anyways, I will share everything i learn here, so anyone can follow along, learn from my mistakes and maybe succeed later.
